Draft schedules will be contingent upon desires of players. Due to the drafting demands of playing in multiple leagues and scheduling difficulties due to players living in time zones spreading from Western Europe to Guam, a lot of players favor the convenience of running drafts. However, there are also lots who prefer the excitement of live drafts. In most cases, live drafts will be held shortly before the season starts, and most of the running drafts will either be completed or close to complete. So far, something has been worked out to satisfy everyone. The intention is to start new leagues with live drafts, so there will be options of both types available.

Prior to 2004, most of the auction drafts had been run over a period of several evenings with live sessions lasting approximately 35 minutes and players able to bid over a 24 hour period. A few of the 2004 auctions were live auctions lasting about 3 hours with players beng sold in one minute intervals. This process worked well. Hopefully, you can find an opening in the type of draft that will best suit your schedule.

^#Running Site Draft is draft that will last one-two weeks. Players will be notified when it is their turn to draft, and they will have up to 24 hours to make a selection. Each team will have an a total time limit for the draft so that they cannot take the full time limit each time. A list feature is available for teams to enter selections prior to their turn. A player will also be able to rank all players and have the program draft for him automatically.
